The Chief Manuelito
Scholarship was established in 1980 to provide scholarships to high achieving
Navajo students. Scholarship awards are $7,000 per academic year. The awarded
for college freshman is based on college entrance exam scores, corresponding
cumulative high school GPA and the completion of Navajo Language and Navajo
Government. For details click on "Manuelito Requirements" in the
right column.
Continuing college students can become Chief Manuelito Scholarship recipients if
they complete over 24 credit hours with a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA. The
Navajo language and government courses are not required. |
